The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Ottawa County in north central Kansas...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 505 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding of several 
  county roadways across Ottawa County. The flooding was the result 
  of several days of heavy rainfall where 5 to 6 inches of rainfall 
  occurred. Additional heavy rainfall is not expected Tonight.

* Some locations that will continue to experience flooding include...
  rural county roads across Ottawa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
