PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing 
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be 
washed out under the water.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 26.0 feet by 
  early Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage late 
  Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet...Low lying areas near the river flood.

* At 7:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 23.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
  rise to near 26.2 feet by Friday early afternoon.The river will 
  fall below flood stage by Friday before midnight.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet...Valley north of the Kansas Highway 43 bridge
  on the north side of Enterprise floods.

* Impact...At 25.0 feet...County Road 763 floods west of Glasco near 
  the west end bridge.
