PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing 
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be 
washed out under the water.

* At 4:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 25.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at  3:49 PM Wednesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 16.5 feet by Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs from along the
  river from Americus to Emporia.
