...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR OTTAWA
COUNTY...

At 651 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported that several county 
roads remained flooded due to the previous heavy rainfall, where 5 
to 6 inches of rain had fallen from last Thursday through this 
morning.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...several rural 
county roads across Ottawa county. Most of the flooded roadways 
now have barricades up to prevent traffic from entering. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
