The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Dougherty County in southwestern Georgia...
  Lee County in southwestern Georgia...

* Until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 819 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to Hurricane 
  Michael across the warned area. Up to three to four inches of rain 
  have already fallen. Flash flooding imminent or already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Leesburg, Putney, Albany, Smithville, East Albany, Marine Corps
  Logistics Base, Turner City, Chokee, Stocks and Radium Springs.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 are possible in the warned 
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
