...The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  North Concho River At Sterling City affecting Sterling County
  
The current stage at the North Concho River at Sterling City is 16.9 
feet and is forecast to crest at 17.1 feet by 7 AM this morning which
is at minor flood. The river is forecast to drop below flood stage 
later this morning and continue falling through tonight.

* until this evening...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  2:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 16.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early this morning and 
  continue to rise to near 17.1 feet by this morning. The river will 
  fall below flood stage later this morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding will occur.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.1 feet
  on Aug 15 2005.
