The river was cresting this morning in minor flooding and will
fall below its flood stage early this evening.

* At  8:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 17.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  late this afternoon.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding will occur.
