At 205 AM EDT, rainfall had diminished in the warned area. However, 2-4 inches of rain fell Wednesday evening and excessive runoff into creeks, streams, and rivers continues at this hour. Flooding was reported earlier in the evening. Additional rainfall over the next few hours will be light, but rainfall will increase again toward daybreak as Tropical Storm Michael moves northeast into the Carolinas.
