EASTERN PULASKI...EASTERN GILES...CRAIG...MONTGOMERY...GREENBRIER...
SUMMERS AND MONROE COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF RADFORD...

At 845 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated an
area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Up to two inches
of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Blacksburg...
Christiansburg...
Radford...
Alleghany...
and Lewisburg.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Otter Creek...
Bluestone River...
Little Laurel Creek...
Taylor Branch...
and North Fork Anthony Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding,
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather Service
