The Flood Warning continues for 
 The Cimarron River near Ames. 

* until Thursday morning...or until the warning is cancelled. 
  
* At  1:45 AM Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet. 
  
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast. 
  
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet. 
  
* Forecast...The Cimarron River will continue rising to near 11.2 
  feet mid Wednesday morning. The Cimarron River will fall below 
  flood stage early Thursday morning. 
  
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Flooding of rural areas to depths of a foot
  extends from near Orienta in Major County...downstream to areas 
  along the Cimarron River in extreme northeastern Blaine County...
  and near the State Highway 51 bridge crossing in Kingfisher County.
  Farmlands...oilfields...and local roads are affected the most by 
  the floodwaters.
