...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Watch for all of eastern Nebraska and a small part of
west central Iowa has been cancelled. 

Although spotty light rain could linger overnight, rain amounts
should remain well under a tenth of an inch. The the threat of
flooding has diminished. 

However, due to widespread rainfall of 2 to 5 inches over the past
several days, some localized minor flooding of low-lying areas
remains possible, especially in southeast Nebraska.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of southwest Iowa, including the following areas, 
  Fremont, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby. 

* Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday

* Additional rainfall amounts through tonight should remain well
  under an inch. However some locations already received several
  inches of rain the past few days, and the ground is already very
  saturated. Also, rivers and creeks are running at or above
  bankfull, and any additional rains could result in minor
  flooding. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
