The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/sullivan has issued a 

* Flood Warning for 
  The Pecatonica River At Darlington.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue 
  to rise to near 13.8 feet by tomorrow evening. The river will fall 
  below flood stage by Friday morning.
* Impact...At 13.9 feet...This level is about a 50 percent chance 
  flood meaning there is a 50 percent chance in any given year of the
  river reaching this level. Floodwaters cover a portion of Main 
  Street in Darlington. A part of the Lafayette County Fairgrounds is
  flooded.
