The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Glasscock County in western Texas...
  Eastern Midland County in western Texas...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 300 PM CDT, Emergency management officials continue to report 
  flooded roads in east Midland and west Glasscock counties, 
  especially near Spraberry on Highway 158, part of FM 1379 and 
  Highway 137 about 3 miles north of Highway 158. Additional roads 
  not listed here could still have flooding in the advisory area. 
  Heavy rain has ended in the area, but it will take several more 
  hours for flood waters to recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Garden City, Greenwood, Saint Lawrence and Spraberry. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
