...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM PDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL ELKO COUNTY...

At 458 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
moderate to locally heavy of up to six tenths of an inch has fallen 
over the South Sugarloaf fire burn scar. This could cause minor 
flooding in the advisory area.

Rain has diminished across the area and with the arrival of colder 
air, scattered rain or snow showers will produce additional 
precipitation of trace amounts to a few hundreths of an inch. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be very cautious if traveling along State Route 225 between Wild 
Horse Reservoir and Mountain City or on rural roads in the South 
Sugarloaf burn scar area. Minor flooding of creeks, roads and 
normally dry washes in steeper terrain as well as rock falls will 
remain possible early this Tuesday evening. Please report any road 
obstructions, especially State route 225 to the Elko County Sheriff 
or NDOT.
