The Flash Flood Watch continues for * A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following areas, Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Coffee, and Jeff Davis. * Through late tonight * Hurricane Michael will lift north-northeast into southwest and south central Georgia tonight. Outer rain bands and embedded thunderstorms will increase across inland southeast Georgia this afternoon, with the potential for flash flooding increasing this evening as Hurricane Michael makes it closest approach. Rainfall amounts near 3 to 5 inch expected across portions of inland southeast Georgia, with locally higher amounts possible through tonight. Heavy rainfall should diminish during the predawn and early morning hours on Thursday as Michael accelerates northeastward towards the Savannah River Valley. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
