...FLASH FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South 
  Carolina, including the following areas, in southeast North 
  Carolina, Bladen and Robeson. In northeast South Carolina, 
  Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, and Marlboro. 

* Until 7 PM EDT this evening

* Potential heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Michael

* Michael is expected to produce heavy rainfall across the area as
  the storm lifts northeast across the Carolinas the this evening.
  Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts
  is possible through this evening. In addition, the ground
  remains saturated in many areas from the significant rainfall
  received from Florence last month. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be
prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
