PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around don't drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Ninnescah South Fork Near Murdock.
* Until late Friday night.
* At 2:30 AM Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 9.0 feet by this 
  afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage early Friday 
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Minor overflow occurs along both banks. 
  However on the south side of the banks near the river bridge on SE 
  160th Avenue, flooding spreads out into pastureland to the extent 
  of 1000ft.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Ninnescah River Near Peck.
* Until late tonight.
* At 2:46 AM Thursday the stage was 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  late this afternoon.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet...The north approach of the river bridge is 
  flooded. Flood waters begin to spread to a width of 1 mile along 
  the north bank.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Ninnescah River Near Belle Plaine.
* Until Friday evening.
* At  7:10 PM Wednesday the stage was 26.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet...A section of K55 floods with 2 feet of water
  starting from 300 feet east of the river bridge and expanding out 
  to 25 feet wide. Expect flood waters on Highway 81 to expand 
  further south to the Y intersection of K55. The small community of 
  Ponderosa Estates, 5 miles northwest of Belle Plaine, will have a 
  few homes flooded and roads leading into the Estates flooded. 
  Timber Brook Estates will have roads inundated by over a foot of 
  water.
