The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a 

* Flood Warning for 
  The Solomon River At Beloit.
* Flood warning in effect until Thursday morning.....
* At  7:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 18.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage overnight and 
  continue to rise to near 21.1 feet Wednesday. The river 
  will fall below flood stage Wednesday evening.
* At 20.0 feet...Flooding occurs in the Beloit city park and 
fairgrounds. Rural lowlands outside of Beloit flood at 18 feet.
