Mitchell County in north central Kansas... Rooks County in north central Kansas... Osborne County in north central Kansas... * Until 245 PM CDT Wednesday. * As of 230 PM Tuesday, local law enforcement reported that a few gravel roads mainly within southern portions of the Warned counties had water over them. In Rooks County, this included V road near Palco, and 22 Road from K18 Highway to V Road, between Plainville and Codell. In Mitchell County, this included at least one rural road approximately seven miles south and two miles west of Beloit. It is possible that other rural roads, along with small streams and creeks could experience minor flooding issues as well. However, widespread flooding is not occurring or anticipated. * While rain is winding down at this time, with only minimal additional amounts expected, much of this area has received at least 2 to 4 inches of rain over the past three days, with isolated 5 inch amounts possible. Thus, it may take at least 12 to 24 hours for runoff to noticeably subside once rain ends. * Some locations that may experience flooding, include mainly rural areas outside the following communities...
