...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of northwest Iowa and west central Iowa, including 
  the following areas, in northwest Iowa, Buena Vista, Cherokee, 
  and Clay IA. In west central Iowa, Ida. 

* Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday

* Rainfall rates will continue to increase this afternoon, with 
  scattered thunderstorms also possible. An additional 1 to 1.5 
  inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible 
  where thunderstorms form. 

* Rainfall will lead to rising river and stream levels. 
  Additionally, lowland flooding and ponding of water on roads 
  and fields is possible. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
