The heavy rain has ended, and the threat of widespread flooding has 
diminished. In this area, rainfall amounts of of 3 to 4 inches, with 
isolated 5 inch totals, were observed through the evening and 
overnight hours. Over the next several hours, runoff from these high 
rainfall amounts will continue to drain into river basins, and rises 
on creeks and streams are still possible.
