The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Extreme northwestern Johnson County in east central Iowa... 
  Southeastern Benton County in east central Iowa...  Southwestern 
  Linn County in east central Iowa... Extreme northeastern 
  Iowa County in east central Iowa...

* Until 600 PM CDT.
    
* At 511 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located 5 miles south Walford, or 12 miles southwest 
  of Cedar Rapids, moving north at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Walford around 515 PM CDT.
  Cedar Rapids and Fairfax around 525 PM CDT.
  Atkins around 530 PM CDT.
  Hiawatha, Palo and Shellsburg around 540 PM CDT.
  Robins and Toddville around 545 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include East
Amana, Middle Amana and Morgan Creek Park.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 25 and 30.
