The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Johnson County in east central Iowa...
  Eastern Iowa County in east central Iowa...

* Until 515 PM CDT.
    
* At 431 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Parnell, or 17 miles south of Marengo, moving
  north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Parnell around 440 PM CDT.
  Williamsburg around 500 PM CDT.
  Conroy around 510 PM CDT.
  Amana around 515 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include East
Amana, Middle Amana, South Amana, Homestead, West Amana, High Amana,
Iowa County Fairgrounds, Holbrook and Upper South Amana.

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 218 and 229.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
