The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Benton County in east central Iowa...
  North central Iowa County in east central Iowa...

* Until 430 PM CDT.
    
* At 337 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Luzerne, or near Marengo, moving north at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Blairstown around 350 PM CDT.
  Keystone around 400 PM CDT.
  Newhall and Van Horne around 405 PM CDT.
  Garrison around 420 PM CDT.
  Shellsburg around 425 PM CDT.
  Vinton around 430 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Hannen
Lake Park, Koszta, Hoefle-Dulin Park and Benton County Fairgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
