The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Western Dubuque County in northeastern Iowa...

* Until 300 PM CDT.
    
* At 212 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Epworth, or 14 miles west of Dubuque, moving north
  at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Centralia around 220 PM CDT.
  Dubuque and Bankston around 225 PM CDT.
  Asbury around 230 PM CDT.
  Holy Cross, Rickardsville and Durango around 235 PM CDT.
  Sherrill around 240 PM CDT.
  Balltown around 245 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Waupeton, Lattnerville, Graf, Five Points, East Rickardsville,
Bankston Park, Mud Lake Park, Cottage Hill, Finley's Landing Park and
Camp Little Cloud.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
