...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Iowa City affecting Johnson and Washington Counties

.The forecast has been updated for increased releases from Coralville
Reservoir. This will result in minor flooding until local runoff from
recent heavy rain diminished Thursday. 

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an 
alternate route. Turn around, don't drown.

...Flood Warning in effect until Thursday morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Iowa River at Iowa City.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 10:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 21.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising 
  to 22.3 feet Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood 
  stage Thursday morning.
* Impact: At 22.0 feet, Urban flood damage occurs in some areas of 
  Iowa City.
