The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Adair County in southwestern Iowa...

* Until 630 PM CDT.
    
* At 544 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located 8 miles
  southeast of Greenfield, moving north at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic storm will be near...
  Greenfield around 555 PM CDT.
  Stuart around 620 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Greenfield Municipal Airport, Orient and Nodaway Park.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 81 and 97.

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in

yourself from flying debris.
