The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Poweshiek County in central Iowa...
  Northeastern Jasper County in central Iowa...

* Until 530 PM CDT.
    
* At 459 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located 6 miles southwest of Grinnell, moving 
  northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Rock Creek Lake around 510 PM CDT.
  Grinnell around 515 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Oakland Acres and Rock Creek State Park.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 175 and 179.
