The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  West central Ashland County in northwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 1130 PM CDT Thursday

* At 1130 AM CDT, rain gauge reports indicated up to three inches of 
  rain had fallen in the past 24 hours.  This will cause strong 
  rises on rivers and streams in the Bad River basin through 
  Thursday.

* At 11:30 AM CDT, the level of the Bad River near Odanah was 10.6 
  feet.  The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5 feet by 
  Thursday morning. 
 
* Minor flooding of low lying areas along the Bad River near Odanah 
  is possible. The Bad River at US Highway 2 will continue to rise 
  before cresting Thursday evening.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in low lying areas is occurring or is imminent.
