The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Victoria County in south central Texas...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 726 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Around 1 1/2 inches of rain have already fallen. Another 1 inch of 
  rainfall will be possible before the storms move slowly southeast. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  McFaddin, Guadalupe, Placedo, Dacosta, Wood Hi and Bloomington. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
