The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northern Victoria County in south central Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 616 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to 1 1/2 inches of rain has already fallen, and another 1/2 to 
  1 inch is possible. This could result in flooding over some 
  portions of Victoria County.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Victoria, Fordtran, Victoria Colony Creek Country Club, Mission
  Valley, Victoria Detar Hospital North, Nursery, Victoria Riverside
  Park, Victoria Mall, Saxet Lakes, Victoria College, Oak Village,
  Inez, Salem, Victoria Regional Airport, Telferner and Downtown
  Victoria.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or 
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
