The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Randolph County in east central Alabama...
  Chambers County in east central Alabama...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 950 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain 
  associated with Michael that could cause small stream flooding in 
  the advisory area. One to two plus inches of rain have fallen 
  already and additional rains with training feeder bands could 
  cause ponding of water in low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Valley, Lanett, Roanoke, Wedowee, Stroud, Lake Wedowee, Lafayette,
  La Fayette, Wadley, Woodland, Waverly, Lakeview, Cusseta, Sturkie,
  Trammel Crossroads, Corinth, Buffalo, Huguley, Fairfax and Crystal
  Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
