...More Heavy Rain Tonight...

.Additional rounds of showers and storms will occur through
Wednesday. Some of this rain will be heavy at times. Additional 
rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally 
higher amounts possible. This additional rain will fall on already
saturated soils and will create rises on rivers and streams and 
some flooding will occur.

Those residing near rivers and streams should remain prepared for
the potential of rapid rises and flooding, and be ready to seek
higher ground if flooding develops.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and Wisconsin, 
  including the following areas, in Iowa, Allamakee, Chickasaw, 
  Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, and Winneshiek. In 
  southeast Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, 
  Wabasha, and Winona. In Wisconsin, Adams, Buffalo, Clark, 
  Crawford, Grant, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, 
  Taylor, Trempealeau, and Vernon. 

* Through Wednesday morning

* Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches expected, with locally 
  higher amounts possible. 

* Prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall will result in rising 
  water on rivers and streams. Some flooding is expected. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

Please monitor weather conditions and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action if flooding develops.
