...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT CDT
/11 PM MDT/ TONIGHT TO 1 PM CDT /NOON MDT/ WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Rain will spread up into the area this evening before
  changing over to snow later tonight. Then, snow, moderate to
  heavy at times, will persist through mid day Wednesday. Total
  snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected, with locally
  higher amounts possible. Breezy north winds this evening will 
  increase later tonight into Wednesday to 20 to 30 mph with gusts
  as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central South Dakota.

* WHEN...From midnight CDT /11 PM MDT/ tonight to 1 PM CDT /noon 
  MDT/ Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

  late this evening. A gradual switch over to snow is expected
  after midnight into early Wednesday morning. Then, snow,
  moderate at times, will persist through Wednesday before
  tapering off Wednesday evening. Total snow accumulations of 2 to
  5 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible. 
  Breezy north winds this evening will increase later tonight into
  Wednesday to 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph.
