Thunderstorms are possible across much of the outlook area this afternoon into tonight, with a few strong to severe storms possible across far northeast and east central Kansas this afternoon into early this evening. Damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes will be possible. Additional rainfall from additional showers and thunderstorms through tonight falling on saturated ground could lead to flash flooding. Additional flooding of rivers and creeks is anticipated and elevated river levels will persist through the end of the week at some locations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
