Rain bands associated with Tropical Storm Michael will begin to to move across the area this morning and continue into tonight. Storm total rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts can be expected. This rainfall could result in flash flooding, particularly in low lying and poor drainage areas. Winds of 20 to 30 MPH with gusts of 30 to 40 MPH can also be expected. Winds of this magnitude could knock down a few trees and power lines. Runoff from the heavy rain will likely lead to minor to moderate flooding along the main stem rivers. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
