This will lead to warming temperatures through Friday and remain dry. Then a system moving over the top of the ridge will clip the region as it dives into the northern Rockies Saturday. Main impact will some cooler temperatures as a low level northerly flow ushers in some cooler Canadian air through the weekend. The freeze warning continues through early this morning around the Lower Columbia Basin. .LONG TERM...Saturday night through Wednesday. Dry conditions with mostly sunny days and chilly nights will continue through the extended period as a strong ridge of high pressure moves over the area. There will be some patchy fog during the late night and early morning hours early next week as the center of the high moves over the Pacific Northwest.
