This places the forecast area under a cool northerly flow with a few lingering showers over the far eastern mountains today. The offshore ridge will shift a little eastward Wednesday night and Thursday which will provide a period of dry weather. Clear skies and light winds Wednesday night will lead to some fog development and cold overnight low temperatures possibly dipping to around freezing around portions of the Lower Columbia Basin. .LONG TERM...Friday through Tuesday.
