.SHORT TERM...Today through Thursday night...A ridge of high 
pressure remains over the eastern Pacific Ocean while a trough of 
low pressure sits over the central United States. This places the 
forecast area under a cool northerly flow with a few lingering 
showers over the far eastern mountains today. The offshore ridge 
will shift a little eastward Wednesday night and Thursday which will 
provide a period of dry weather. Clear skies and light winds 
Wednesday night will lead to some fog development and cold overnight 
low temperatures possibly dipping to around freezing around 
portions of the Lower Columbia Basin.  

.LONG TERM...Friday through Tuesday.  Dry and mild conditions will 
seen through the extended period as a large ridge of high pressure 
is expected to remain over the area.  Temperatures will be near 
seasonal levels with highs in the 50s and 60s with some high level 
cloudiness from time to time. 93

.AVIATION...12z Tafs. Some MVFR cigs possible through 15z at 
KRDM/KBDN then VFR conditions will prevail across the region.  Sct-
bkn clouds 050-080 kft MSL through the day with clearing skies after 
sunset.  Winds will become north to northwest 5-10kts for the 
afternoon decreasing to under 10 kts after sunset.
