Southerly winds to around 20 knots across the Volusia and offshore Brevard Atlantic waters will keep seas elevated to 6 to 7 feet posing hazardous conditions for small craft operators overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. Michael is expected to weaken to a tropical storm and then move northeast across the Carolinas Thursday and off the mid Atlantic coast Thursday night. Coverage of showers and storms will then decrease through the weekend as drier air moves in behind a weak frontal boundary.
