central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

The chance of thunderstorms will continue today. Isolated severe 
storms will be possible today, mainly across southwestern Illinois.
The main threat will be damaging winds.

Major river flooding is forecast on portions of the Mississippi
River through the upcoming weekend as a result of previously fallen
