Tropical storm conditions could be possible in a few rainbands today. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect due to increased water levels from persistent easterly flow. Tides will be running 1 to 3 feet above normal with minor flooding possible outside the levee protection systems...mainly at high tide. These conditions should gradually subside overnight. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for hazardous winds and seas across portions of the Gulf coastal waters and sounds. A Tropical Storm Watch and Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for portions of the coastal waters east of the Mississippi River. A Wind Advisory is in effect for Lower Plaquemines and Lower St. Bernard Parishes today, where winds may be stronger than 25 mph at times in a few locations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Hazardous weather is not expected. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
