299 FXUS64 KHGX 102017 AFDHGX Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX 317 PM CDT Wed Oct 10 2018 .DISCUSSION... Mid afternoon skies are partly to mostly cloudy generally to the north of a Livingston to Conroe to Sealy line and mostly sunny to the south. Expecting to see a general decreasing cloud trend for the rest of the afternoon and on into the evening as drier air continues to filter into the area from the north and northwest behind the cold front. With weak high pressure building into the area from the north, it will be quiet and dry with cool nights around here for the remainder of the week. Over the weekend, look for warming temperatures and increasing humidities as an onshore flow comes back. Low rain chances are back in the forecast across parts of the area (mainly north) Saturday and Saturday night as moisture levels begin to rise, and slightly higher chances come on Sunday ahead of the area's next cold front. Our next cooldown comes with the passage of this front some time late Sunday afternoon through late Sunday night or early Monday morning with breezy conditions possible (especially near the coast) in its wake. 42 && .PREV DISCUSSION... /ISSUED 1254 PM CDT Wed Oct 10 2018/ AVIATION...[18Z TAF] A cold front will continue to push through the forecast area today.
