This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western 
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Valley rain and high elevation snow will persist through this 
afternoon before ending by late evening. Snow accumulations of 5 
to 10 inches with localized amounts up to 14 inches are possible 
mainly above 9,000 feet in the Grand Mesa, Flat Tops, Elk and 
Sawatch Mountains. The remaining mountain ranges could receive 2 
to 6 inches of snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Sunday night could end up being a season ending freeze for many 
lower elevations that have not seen their freeze yet.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
