Late tonight, rain may briefly mix with or change over to snow within far western and northwestern portions of the area, particularly within Dawson, Gosper, Furnas and Valley counties. While no snow accumulation is expected for most places, there is an outside chance that far western Dawson County, including the Gothenburg area, could see up to around one-half inch mainly on grassy surfaces. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Widespread frost is likely across the area late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with at least slightly sub-freezing temperatures also likely in most places.
