This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

There is a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms southeast of a
line from Osborne, Kansas to Columbus, Nebraska. 

Rain will gradually come to an end this evening and tonight.
Localized flooding remains possible along low-lying areas,
streams, and rivers. A Flood Watch remains in effect for portions
of the outlook area.

Rain may briefly change to snow over portions of Dawson, Gosper,
and Valley counties tonight. Only one half inch of snow is 
expected to accumulate on grassy surfaces in the Gothenburg area. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Sub-freezing temperatures are likely for a large portion of the
outlook area Wednesday night into Thursday morning. See the Freeze
Watch product for the latest information on this threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight, however 
reports of areas where flooding is observed are highly 
encouraged.
