River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast 
precipitation.

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two 
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility 
vehicles. Turn Around, Don't Drown!

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam.
* At 10:10 AM Thursday the flow was 28794 cfs.
* Flood stage is 30000 cfs.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage today and continue to rise to 
  a flow near 36500 cfs by Friday morning. The river will fall below 
  flood stage by Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 40000.0 cfs...Several roads are closed downstream of the
  dam.

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Gaston County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 1200 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy tropical showers 
  developing into the advised area.  An additional inch of rain will 
  be possible further aggravating high water conditions throughout 
  the I-85 corridor and greater Gastonia

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gastonia, Mt Holly, Belmont, Cherryville, Bessemer City, South
  Gastonia, Dallas, Stanley, Cramerton and Lowell.
