The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southeastern Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Southwestern Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern Luzerne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  West central Pike County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 1112 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause 
  minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one to 1.5 inches of 
  rain has already fallen...and an additional half inch of rain in a 
  short period of time is possible before noon today.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Freeland, Bear Creek, Moscow, White Haven, Lehigh, Penn Lake Park,
  Bear Creek Village, Jeddo, Gouldsboro and Drifton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
