The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  East central Northumberland County in central Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern Montour County in central Pennsylvania...
  Columbia County in central Pennsylvania...

* Until 100 PM EDT.

* At 1005 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
  stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has 
  already fallen in a short amount of time, and more rain is 
  expected over the next 3 hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Bloomsburg, Berwick, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Danville, Kulpmont,
  Elysburg, Riverside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
