The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Pike County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 1215 PM EDT.

* At 912 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Pikeville, Elkhorn City, Forest Hills, Huddy, Meta, Jamboree,
  Fishtrap Lake, Garden Village, Toonerville, Dorton, Woodman and
  Biggs.

Additional rainfall of 1 inch is expected over the area between 930 
AM EDT and 1130 AM EDT. This additional rain will result in minor 
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
