ALLEGHANY...WESTERN SURRY AND WILKES COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN NORTH
CAROLINA...CENTRAL CARROLL AND EASTERN GRAYSON COUNTIES IN
SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA AND THE CITY OF GALAX...

The heavy from Thursday evening has ended.  However, the outer rain 
bands from Tropical Storm Michael moving northeast through eastern 
Georgia will be moving into Wilkes County within the next hour or 
so.  New Flash Flood and Flood Warnings will likely be issued this 
morning as this moderate to heavy, persistent rainfall spreads over 
the area.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or Commercial Radio and television 
for the latest watches, advisories, and warnings are issued 
throughout the day.
